| | BOOo~!!!! we're BaAaCk! Colourshots is back after soooo long of hibernating (Siti and I have been busy for quite sometime now) Miss us? hehehe ;)

What a way to start the NEW year, by having a photoshoot for a NEW born baby..the handsome fella was born on the 9th Dec 09, at 1.04pm. I am sure you can recognise the parents..they have rendered Colourshots service a couple of times...and can;t get enough of it! ;)

| | FINALLY!! It has been a GREAT experience for me.. being in a pageant for the very first time..and I blushed when I saw M. Nasir back stage hehe (I shy..) A very humble man indeed..respect!
I made many knew friends, and those contestants were super lovely! I have learnt how to wear a pair of 3 inch heels (ehehhe..) I have also learnt how to be more confident up on stage (thanks to AB Shaik and Abg Eddie the catwalk master)
Knowing me, I am glad I wasn't chosen to be the top 5 as I knew that I would not be able to answer those questions (My malay is horrible plus terrible).. and I am so glad that I managed to win the title Ratu Personaliti =) yeye!! |
 
Reporter/Photographer: Noretta I am sure you guys have seen the heartbreaking photos of the Cambodia trip that we, COLOURSHOTS went recently. Well last Sunday, our school organised a charity fun fair to raise funds for the orphanage. The other objective of the fun fair was also a get together for families and children from the different "by-the-park" branches. I set up a game stall for the kids to have fun and Siti set up a make up stall for any ladies who would like to look good on that very day.Take a look at some of the shots taken on that faithful Saturday...  Well well well.... The lovely Sutra magazine has opened up an opportunity for 16 hopefuls to become the covergirl for Sutra magazine.The contest is called "AURA SUTRA" as they are hunting for a woman (be it single, married, bertudung..) who is able to leave an impact in everyone (aura lah katerkaan...) Her looks, the way she portrays herself and her bright personality will outshine the rest and she'll become the CHOSEN ONE!! Yes... you saw it right..believe it or not.. I wasn't there as the photographer, but I was there as one of the finalists!For some of you who knows me well, you know how 'cho lor' I am right... hahaha!!.. I need lots of luck man...SITI MY PARTNER has always believed in me and I thank her for giving me the full support.She has put up with all my nonsense along the way too (I have to say that she has polished my rough edges a little) I feel very honoured to be a part of many gorgeous ladies who are living their respective and hectic lives (bag designer, life skill trainer, teachers, and even a dental therapist) and are still able to give the sweetest smile..(respect!!) So... for the multipliers out there... here are some of the finalists that my buddy Zakiah managed to take..Trust me.. The rest of the finalists (not in the photos) are also looking very gorgeous indeed!!Being a photographer myself, I was really awed by their beauty. Do check us out in Berita Minggu (8 finalists this week, and the other 8 next week).

We had a blast working with Nur Shirhaini (mama bear), Shaharudin (papa bear) and Nadya (baby bear) on the Saturday afternoon. Being beautifully pregnant, she wanted some behind closed doors shots of her belly and some lovely shots with her beloved hubby (sorry peeps, can't disclose photos hehehe..).
Then mama bear, papa bear and baby bear decided to walk through the bare woods.. The theme was simple and casual... they just had to be themselves... and be themselves they did =)

Jun Wen wanted some shots of him in action during the OSIM triathlon 2009 (Saturday, 1st Aug).
It was not easy locating him in the crowd,Rei (his gf), Jeremy and I had our very own 'marathon' chasing him from point to point!

Preschool By-The-Park's short report on our recent Cambodia trip is published in the EXPAT LIVING magazine (this month's issue). Covers 3/4 of page 38.
Oh yes... it was the time of the year... when we sweat it all out heheh ;) Once again, Colourshots had our annual run with our beloved girlfriend Nora. Lots more ladies took part in the Shape Run this year and we all LOVE the pink tops!!

We brought the older orphans to a resort where they could enjoy themselves in the pool (a rare opportunity for them) so priceless to see their joy and smiles..
The next day.. we headed to the genocide museum... super depressing.. thinking that it happened in the 70s brought shivers down our spines...blood stains were still fresh on the ground.. |
